True Confections is seeking a dedicated Server to join our team for full-time mornings and evenings.
As a Server, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service in our restaurant environment. Your responsibilities will include cashier duties, maintaining cleanliness, preparing coffee beverages, making alcoholic drinks, cutting and serving cakes, handling phone sales, and addressing customer inquiries.
The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced setting, possess excellent communication skills, and have a passion for providing a delightful dining experience!.
Responsibilities:
Greet and seat customers in a friendly and timely manner
Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and service stations
Prepare and serve coffee, alcoholic beverages, and other beverages to customers’ specifications
Cut and serve cakes according to established procedures
Answer phone calls, take orders, and provide information to customers
Upsell products and promotions to enhance customer satisfaction
Collaborate with kitchen and bakery staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
Assist with inventory management and stocking supplies as needed
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a customer service or food service role preferred
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a dynamic environment
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
Basic math and cash handling skills
Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and alcoholic beverage mixing preferred
Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
High school diploma or equivalent
