Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Front of House Manager to join our team. As the Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing the front of house staff. This is a key leadership role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties: – Manage and supervise all front of house staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bartenders – Train new employees on restaurant policies, procedures, and customer service standards – Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service and address any customer concerns or complaints – Oversee the reservation system and manage table assignments to optimize seating capacity – Monitor dining room cleanliness and appearance, ensuring tables are cleared and reset promptly – Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service and timely delivery of orders – Handle cash handling procedures, including cash register reconciliation and bank deposits – Maintain inventory of front of house supplies such as menus, napkins, and condiments – Assist with interviewing, hiring, and scheduling front of house staff members – Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees Skills: – Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and front of house management – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment – Proficient in cash handling procedures – Knowledge of food service regulations and health codes – Experience with interviewing, training, and supervising staff members – Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle customer complaints effectively – Knowledge of bartending and food preparation techniques is a plus We offer competitive pay based on experience.
