Synergy Protection Group Inc. is looking for experienced and dedicated Concierge Security Guard to join our exciting, hard working and growing team in Toronto, Ontario!
Job Status: Full-time Permanent
Synergy Protection Group Inc. is looking for an honest and professional individual to join our team. This is an opportunity to interact with people daily and take pride in keeping them and our building safe and secure. The on-duty Security personnel is often the first person that people come into contact with as they begin their workday or visit of our facility. We’re looking for someone with a friendly attitude who can represent our organization well while focusing on its security.
Currently we have 3 openings Full Time / 40hr weekly
1. Monday to Friday (4:00 pm to 12:00 am) Afternoons
2. Monday to Friday (12:00 am to 8:00 am) Overnights
3. Tuesday to Friday (4:00 pm to 12:00 am) and Saturday (12:00 pm – 12:00 am) Afternoons
Job Duties:
Good in understanding Alarm monitoring systems and give real-time alerts to security personnel’s or emergency responders in the event of unauthorized entry, fire, or other emergencies, enabling swift action to mitigate risks.
Manage access to the facility by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, and ensuring that only authorized individuals are permitted entry.
Dealing with fire alarm, trespassing situation.
Good idea about Alarm monitoring system
Enforce security protocols and procedures related to access control.
Serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors providing a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Assist with inquiries, directions, and any other assistance required in a courteous manner.
Respond promptly to emergencies, including but not limited to medical incidents, fires, and security alarms. Take appropriate action to mitigate risks, evacuate the premises if necessary, and coordinate with emergency services.
Document all security-related incidents, disturbances, or violations in detailed reports. Collect evidence, gather witness statements, and provide accurate information to law enforcement or management as needed.
Collaborate effectively with other security personnel, facility management, and external stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to security operations. Communicate relevant information and updates to relevant parties in a timely manner.
Requirements:
A valid Ontario Security license
2 year of Security Experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Can stay alert at all times
Ability to respond well to emergency situations
