Front Desk Agent – Full Time & Part Time Jobs in West Kelowna at Fairfield West Kelowna

We are looking for a customer centric Guest Services Agent to join our team at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott West Kelowna

Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Process guest arrivals and departures, including all necessary payments
Handle & coordinate room assignments and pre-arrivals
Check-in and check-out of groups and tours
Answering calls and assisting guests with reservations or any other inquiries in a timely manner.
Assisting guests with booking wine packages, restaurant reservations
Contributing to a positive team culture
A proactive approach to guest comments/issues, ensuring these are handled in a professional manner meeting or exceeding guests expectations
Help achieve departmental goals and contributes ideas for better guest satisfaction, colleague relations and revenue enhancement by providing motivational leadership
High School graduation required
Hotel experience an asset but not required.
Proficient with computers. Experience with Fosse will be an asset
Ability to plan, prioritize and complete multiple projects
Self Starter who is empowered to take the initiative to do what it takes to ensure the best guest experience
Ability to work with all employees to promote teamwork and co-operative relationships within and across departments
Ability to work evenings and weekends. Shifts run from 7am – 3pm or 3pm – 11pm, so reliable transportation is important. Occasionally you may be asked to cover an overnight 11pm – 7am shift.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00 per hour
