Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing excellent customer service while handling food and beverage orders. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, cashiering, and food handling, with a strong focus on sanitation and food safety. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in the food industry while contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Prepare and serve food items according to established standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
- Assist with food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff as needed.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health regulations and safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude.
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cashiering tasks.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Experience in food preparation, serving, cashiering, or kitchen work is a plus.

Pay: $17.85-$23.06 per hour
