Global Furniture Group’s warehousing division in Concord requires a Freight and Procurement Associate.
This is an entry level position which reviews and processes freight quote requests from our customers.
The Associate position provides our customers with quotes based on carrier and spot rates provided by our Traffic Department, and ensures quotes are accurate and communicated to our customers in a timely manner.
Responsibilities include:
- researching quotes and ensuring their accuracy
- uploading and communicating quotes to our customers
- investigating inbound shipments for accuracy
- forwarding PO reports and labels
- communicating with freight forwarders
The ideal candidate has experience in processing freight orders, is computer literate (MS Office & Excel) and has sound customer service and communication skills.
