I.Key Responsibilities
1. Team Management & Operational Coordination
Lead daily operations, training, and performance evaluation of the freight forwarding team (including ocean, air, and land freight operators) to ensure efficiency.
Coordinate cross-departmental resources (sales, customer service, finance, warehouse) to optimize workflows and enhance customer satisfaction.
Monitor operational timelines, accuracy, and cost control to ensure on-time delivery of shipments.
2. Process Optimization
Develop and refine freight forwarding processes (booking, documentation, customs clearance, tracking, exception handling) to mitigate risks.
Promote digital tools (TMS, WMS, ERP systems) to improve automation.
Analyze operational data regularly and propose efficiency improvements.
3. Customer Service & Relationship Management
Liaise with key clients to resolve complex operational issues and ensure timely response to demands.
Gather feedback from clients and refine service strategies to enhance retention.
Participate in client negotiations and provide operational expertise to support business growth.
4. Risk Control & Compliance
Identify potential risks (delays, cargo damage, customs inspections) and develop contingency plans.
Ensure compliance with international freight regulations (INCOTERMS, customs policies, trade terms).
Manage emergencies (e.g., weather disruptions, strikes, policy changes) to minimize business impact.
5. Cost & Quality Management
1)Monitor operational costs (shipping fees, storage, documentation) and propose cost-saving measures.
2)Establish quality assessment systems and conduct regular audits to meet company and industry standards.
II.Qualifications
1.Education.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics Management, International Trade, Transportation, or related fields preferred.
2.Experience. 3+ years in international freight forwarding operations, with 1+ years in team management.Familiarity with ocean/air/m multimodal logistics processes.
Experience in large freight forwarders, logistics firms, or multinational logistics departments preferred.
3.Technical Skills.Proficient in freight processes (booking, customs clearance, documentation, tracking).Skilled in freight software (CargoWise, Oracle TMS, Freightos) and office tools (Excel, PPT).Strong data analysis skills for decision-making.
4.Soft Skills
Excellent communication and cross-cultural collaboration abilities.
Strong problem-solving under pressure.
Customer-centric mindset with balanced efficiency-risk management.
5.Language Requirements
Chinese at a native level
Fluent English and international correspondence.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certifications (e.g., FIATA, customs broker license).
Experience in e-commerce logistics, hazardous goods, or cold chain logistics..
