Forklift Operator/Material Handler Jobs in Lenexa, KS at Long Motor Corporation
Long Motor Corporation, dba LMC Truck, is an aftermarket retailer. We are passionate about our cars and trucks! We are currently hiring for a multitude of Forklift Operators!
If you have driven any types of forklifts, we’d love to meet with you and see if you could match any of the following positions: Reach Truck Operators ,and/or Walkie Riders (electrical pallet jack)!
Reach Truck Schedule :
- M-F, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, with possible MANDATORY OT: 9-hour days during the week AND/OR 2-3 Saturdays/month as needed.
Material Handler Schedule:
- M-F, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, with possible MANDATORY OT: 9-hour days during the week AND/OR 2-3 Saturdays/month as needed.
Forklift Operators’ Responsibilities:
- Complete daily inspection of equipment
- Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various types of forklifts (i.e. Cherry picker, Reach truck operators, etc.)
- Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of products is loaded.
- Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
- Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.
- Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary.
- Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary.
- Other duties assigned by Supervisor
Forklift Operator Requirements:
- Must Pass Drug Screen
- Experience with driving different types of forklifts
- Ability to use electronic devices (i.e. PDA)
- Have the physical strength and dexterity to lift and carry 50-75 lbs. or more
- Ability to stand and/or walk 95% of the shift.
- Able to work in a -controlled environment, (cold in winter, hot/humid in summer).
- Accuracy & detail oriented.
- Have organization skills.
- Time-management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when required.
Compensation, Hours, & Benefits
- $20.00/hourly – WEEKLY PAY on Fridays!

Additionally, your knowledge of RF scanners and warehouse management systems will enhance our operational efficiency, making you a vital asset to our team.
