Job Overview:
Our client in the Kennedy and Edwards Blvd area is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse. This is a vital role in the warehouse distribution process, and we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, physically fit, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
– Morning Shift 9AM-6PM, Monday to Friday
– $19.00-$20.00 / HR Plus 4% vacation pay, Paid bi-weekly on Fridays

Duties:
Operate a forklift to transport materials and products throughout the warehouse
Stack and organize products in designated areas
Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate records
Inspect and maintain the forklift, reporting any maintenance or repair needs
Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times
Unload and load trucks using a various forklifts (Reach, counterbalance, walkie rider)
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Assist with other warehouse duties as needed
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting
Valid Forklift operator License
Familiarity with order fulfillment processes in an e-commerce environment
1+ years experience in operating reach, counterbalance, and walkie rider
Basic math skills for inventory management
Ability to load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required in a warehouse environment
