About us
unitii Corp.is a fast growing, dynamic real estate company specializing in Development, Property Management & Investment. We are currently looking for a Foreman to join our growing team in Victoria.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Reporting to Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent,
Using Procore and Blue Beam to gather / record project information,
Reading and understanding drawings and specifications,
Providing day to day, on-site supervision and coordination among various subcontractors,
Troubleshooting common issues that may arise on-site, including carpentry – building / supervising the build of general construction items; stairs, hand rails, boxes, etc.
Ensuring quality requirements are adhered to and met in day to day work activities,
Receiving and organizing goods, including tools & equipment and project materials,
Performing site orientations,
Other related duties as required.
SKILLS & ABILITIES YOU SHOULD HAVE:
Dependable,

Open-minded & able to respond well to constructive criticism,
Adaptable to a fast-paced, fluid environment,
Carpentry )and / other trades) experience essential,
Extensive time spent on active construction sites (multi-unit/wood frame an asset),
Computer literacy for field/office communication – Procore, Blue Beam are considered an asset,
Equipment operation experience an asset (Skid-Steer, Excavator, Zoom Boom),
Valid Drivers License,
Valid First Aid Certification considered an asset,
First aid training,

WHAT WE OFFER:
Full time position, Monday to Friday (Saturdays when needed),
Greater Victoria area,
On one or multiple sites,

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
