Detailed Overview
Oversees the collection and receipt of cash and/or meal tickets for items purchased in the cafeteria. Performs a variety of duties within cafeteria operation. In charge of a designated shift within the assigned area as designated by Manager, Food Services or designate.
Responsibilities
Prepares, receives and verifies cash register float.
Verifies cash receipts against cash register printout and balances.
Prepares the kitchen for service by performing duties such as turning equipment on and off, putting food out, locking/unlocking doors and drawers.
Prepares and completes bank deposit slips.
Counts, weighs and/or measures ingredients for assigned food preparation area. Makes beverages and food items such as coffee, tea and toast…
