Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Food Service Worker to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service and supporting daily restaurant operations in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with food preparation, customer interaction, and maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.
Duties
- Prepare, cut, and assemble shawarma wraps, plates, and other menu items according to restaurant standards
- Learn menu items, ingredients, and food preparation procedures to ensure quality and consistency
- Handle food safely while following sanitation, hygiene, and food safety guidelines
- Provide customer service at the front counter, including taking orders, serving customers, and assisting with inquiries
- Serve food professionally and efficiently in both quick-service and dine-in settings when required
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen, dining, and service areas through regular cleaning procedures
- Assist with food preparation, kitchen support, and other operational tasks as needed
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple responsibilities
- Support team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations and timely service
- Follow workplace safety and sanitation protocols at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurants, fast food, or hospitality environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, food handling, and customer service practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a positive and professional attitude
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Good time management skills to ensure efficient food preparation and customer service
- Familiarity with sanitation and cleanliness standards in food service settings
- Ability to stand for extended periods, perform routine cleaning tasks, and handle physical job duties
- Prior experience in kitchen support, food preparation, or customer service is an asset but not required
Pay: $17.85-$18.25 per hour
