As a Pizza Store Associate, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and operational efficiency in our pizza store. You will assist in various tasks related to food preparation, customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. **Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Customer Service:**
– Greet customers warmly and assist them in placing orders.
– Provide recommendations on menu items and upsell additional products or specials.
– Ensure orders are accurate and delivered promptly to customers.
2. **Food Preparation:**
– Prepare pizza dough, toppings, and ingredients according to established recipes and standards.
– Assemble pizzas and other menu items ensuring quality and consistency.
– Monitor food levels and replenish supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
3. **Operational Support:**
– Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and food processors safely and efficiently.
– Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation and customer service areas.
– Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to minimize risks of contamination or accidents.
4. **Team Collaboration:**
– Work closely with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
– Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, delivery drivers, and other team members to fulfill customer orders accurately.
5. **Additional Responsibilities:**
– Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
– Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system accurately.
– Address customer concerns or complaints professionally and escalate issues as needed.
**Requirements:**
– Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required; training will be provided.
– Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
