The Production Lead is responsible for cultivating a culture of safety, security, and operational resilience across all enterprise locations. Essential Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • PPE usage and ability to inspect production areas.
  • Work in varying conditions (cold, heat, humidity, noise).

New Hire Retention Bonus Program:

  • $100 after 10 shifts
  • $250 after 90 days
  • $500 after 180 days

Eligibility requires active employment and good standing at each milestone. Bonuses are subject to applicable taxes and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily food production activities on the manufacturing floor, ensuring smooth operations and optimal productivity.
  • Enforce compliance with FDA regulations, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and other food safety standards to guarantee product integrity.
  • Lead sanitation efforts by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the plant, including equipment and work areas.
  • Monitor packaging processes to ensure proper labeling, sealing, and handling of finished products.
  • Train and mentor team members on food safety protocols, machinery operation, sanitation procedures, and safety practices.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities, identifying mechanical issues early and coordinating maintenance or repairs as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to production logs, quality checks, sanitation records, and incident reports.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing best practices in food processing.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food production or manufacturing environments within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP standards, and overall food safety practices.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with sanitation procedures specific to food processing plants to ensure compliance with health standards.
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not required.
  • Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills for training staff and coordinating with other departments.

Pay: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour
