We are hiring for three different positions (described below) which all share the following responsibilities:
– perform all tasks following safe food handling practices (Food Handler Training Certificate required)
– setup, operate, and shutdown equipment and work space in accordance with company’s HACCP program (food safety)
– interact cooperatively and productively with other staff
– effective communication with Production Manager regarding any issues or concerns
Positions:
Batch Preparation: part-time, seasonal (must be comfortable lifting 50 lbs)
– Wash, juice, and blend fresh produce
– Measure and combine ingredients following recipes to complete batch
– Clean and sanitize all dishes, equipment, and work surfaces used during preparation
– Complete daily batch logs
Production: full-time, seasonal (must be comfortable lifting 40 lbs)
– Fill stainless-steel molds with liquid batch
– Carefully place molds into ice pop machine for freezing
– Remove molds once frozen, extract ice pops
– Refill molds in series to ensure continuous production during shift
– Clean-up of dishes, equipment, surfaces used during production
Packaging: full-time, seasonal
– Place ice pops into flow-wrap machine, testing representative sample to ensure proper seal
– Pack packaged pops into retail cartons
– Prepare case boxes, marking each with Lot # and Best Before date
– Clean-up of equipment and surfaces used during production
