Job Overview:
We are seeking a Processor to join our team in the snack food industry. As a Processor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient processing of food products. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail and adherence to food safety standards.
Duties:
– Package and process potato chips according to established guidelines and procedures
– Operate machinery and equipment used in the processing of potato chips
– Follow proper sanitation practices to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
– Perform basic math calculations for measuring ingredients and quantities
– Utilize forklifts or other material handling equipment as needed
– Conduct quality control checks to ensure product consistency and meet specifications
– Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals
– Maintain accurate records of production activities
Experience:
– Previous experience in the food industry or food processing is preferred
– Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
– Familiarity with operating packaging machinery and equipment
– Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues
– Ability to sanitize work areas and equipment effectively
– Proficiency in following standard operating procedures (SOPs)
– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
