We are seeking an experienced Pest Control Technician with a strong background in food processing/handling facilities and fumigation services. This role is critical in maintaining compliance, safety, and pest-free environments for our commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pest control services in food plants and other sensitive environments in accordance with industry regulations (FDA, USDA, AIB, etc.)
- Conduct inspections, identify pest activity, and implement effective treatment plans
- Execute and assist with structural and commodity fumigation services
- Maintain accurate service records, logs, and compliance documentation
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding findings, recommendations, and corrective actions
- Follow all safety protocols, label requirements, and company procedures
- Work flexible hours, including nights or weekends, as required for fumigation jobs
Qualifications
- 2+ years of pest control experience, with direct experience in food plant environments
- Proven experience with fumigation (structural and/or commodity preferred)
- Valid state pesticide applicator license (or ability to obtain quickly)
- Strong knowledge of IPM (Integrated Pest Management) practices
- Understanding of food safety standards and audit requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Comfortable working in physically demanding environments (heights, confined spaces, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- Fumigation certification/license
- Experience with audit-driven accounts (AIB, SQF, BRC, etc.)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Key Responsibilities
- Provide pest control services in food processing and handling facilities, ensuring compliance with AIB, SQF, BRC, FDA, and USDA standards
- Perform detailed inspections, identify pest pressures, and implement Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs
- Conduct and support fumigation services (structural and/or commodity), including preparation, monitoring, and aeration
- Maintain accurate digital and written service documentation for audit readiness
- Communicate findings, corrective actions, and recommendations clearly with clients and facility personnel
- Install, monitor, and maintain pest control devices and exclusion measures
- Follow all label requirements, safety protocols, and company procedures
- Be available for after-hours, weekend, and overnight work, especially for fumigation projects
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of pest control experience, with direct work in food plants or sensitive accounts
- Hands-on experience with fumigation services preferred
- Valid pesticide applicator license (or ability to obtain quickly)
- Strong knowledge of IPM and audit compliance standards
- Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced, regulated environments
- Physically capable of working in industrial settings, heights, and confined spaces
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Preferred Experience
- Fumigation certification or licensing
- Experience supporting third-party audits (AIB, SQF, BRC, etc.)
- Background in commercial pest control with a focus on large-scale facilities
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
