Full job description
Responsibilities:
– Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
– Take customer orders and process payments using a POS system
– Prepare and serve food and beverages in a timely manner
– Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area and food preparation areas
– Assist with food handling and preparation as needed
– Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
– Answer customer inquiries and provide information about menu items
– Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
– Previous experience as a cashier or in a restaurant/food service environment is preferred
– Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
– Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
– Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
– Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
