Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Food Service Worker to join our team. As a Food Service Worker, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, handling customer orders, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Duties:
– Take customer orders and process payments using the POS system
– Prepare food items according to established recipes and portion sizes
– Assist with food assembly, including plating and garnishing
– Ensure food quality and presentation meets company standards
– Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, including equipment, utensils, and workstations
– Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety
– Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
Qualifications:
– Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required
– Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
– Basic math skills for cash handling and recipe measurements
– Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions effectively
– Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance is a plus
