We are seeking a proactive and innovative Floral Manager to lead our floral department at Food World Supermarket. In this pivotal role, you will oversee floral operations, manage inventory, and ensure the highest standards of quality and creativity in our floral arrangements. You’ll play a crucial role in enhancing our brand’s identity and customer experience through exceptional floral design and merchandising.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the floral team in designing and producing high-quality floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, corporate events, and everyday customer needs.

• Source and purchase fresh flowers, plants, and floral supplies from approved vendors

• Manage inventory levels, ensuring a fresh and diverse selection of flowers and supplies while minimizing waste.

• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop promotional strategies and seasonal displays that align with company objectives.

• Train and mentor staff on floral design techniques, customer service excellence, and operational best practices.

• Monitor industry trends and competitor offerings to continuously innovate and enhance our floral product line.

• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the best quality and pricing for floral products.

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in floral design and procurement and minimum 3 years as manager, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design capabilities.

• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

• Strong understanding of floral trends, care, and handling techniques.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure.

Preferred:

• Experience in a retail environment, particularly in a floral or garden center.

• Floral design certifications or relevant educational background in horticulture or floral design.

• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

• Proficiency in floral design techniques and principles, including color theory and composition.

• Experience with inventory management systems and basic accounting practices.

• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms for online floral sales
