Job Description: (for those with experience and sufficient capabilities but not limited to)
– Measure, cut and install new floors in residential and sometimes commercial setting. These types of floors include; Vinyl, Hardwood, Carpet, and Tile
– Measure, cut and install Trim, Baseboards, Transitions, etc.
Job Description: (For those with minimal/no experience but not limited to)
– Take up existing floors, haul off and dispose of
– Prepare floors for new floor coverings. This may include scraping, chipping, sanding or leveling
– Clean up job sites
– Pick up and deliver flooring materials to job sites (must have valid drivers license)
– Maintain Shop/Showroom. Which may include cleaning, organizing, hanging rugs
– Warehouse Assistance. Which may include: receiving deliveries from manufacturers, operating fork lift (with proper training), moving and organizing existing stock
Requirements:
– Valid Drivers License
– Basic English speaking ability
– High school education (preferred but not required)
– Professional communications skills. Must be able to receive and understand written and verbal instruction from supervisors. Must be able to receive and relay information from customers in a professional, inviting manor
– Basic ability to use most hand tools, basic power tools as well as read a tape measurer (professional training is available for those who are fit)
– Problem solving abilities. Taking note of the details of your surroundings and creating solutions to an issues that may occur
– Punctuality. All employees are responsible for showing up on time each day and leaving the job sites in a timely manor
– Desire to learn, grow and be flexible to a constantly changing environment
– Must be able to lift 50+ lbs over shoulder
Compensations:
$16-25 per hour (based on experience and performance)
OR
Project Based sub-contracting (requires W-9, Licensed and Insured)
– We would request a current pricing guide overview as well as referrals and photos
Pay: $16.00 – $25.00 per hour
