Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Flooring Installer to join our team. As a Flooring Installer, you will be responsible for installing various types of flooring materials, including tile, carpet, laminate, and hardwood. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
– Measure and cut flooring materials to fit the designated area
– Prepare the subfloor by removing existing flooring, leveling, and cleaning
– Install flooring materials according to manufacturer instructions and industry standards
– Use hand tools and power tools to complete installation tasks
– Apply adhesives, caulking, or other necessary materials to secure flooring
– Ensure proper alignment and spacing of flooring materials
– Inspect completed work for quality and make any necessary repairs or adjustments
Experience:
– Proven experience in flooring installation, including , laminate installation, and hardwood installation
– Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and their installation techniques
– Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for cutting and shaping flooring materials
– Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated.
Job Types: Full-time, Freelance
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
