Overview
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our growing retail showroom team. This role is responsible for helping customers select flooring, cabinets, bath products, and other remodeling materials, while building strong relationships with contractors, remodelers, installers, and homeowners.

Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Service

  • Assist customers in selecting flooring, cabinets, bath products, and other remodeling materials
  • Understand customer project needs and provide product recommendations and solutions
  • Prepare quotes, estimates, and sales orders accurately and efficiently
  • Follow up on leads, quotes, and existing customer accounts to drive sales growth
  • Maintain strong relationships with contractors, remodelers, installers, and repeat customers
  • Coordinate with customers regarding product availability, delivery schedules, and installation timelines

Showroom & Product Presentation

  • Maintain showroom appearance, displays, and product samples
  • Stay up to date on product knowledge, industry trends, and new product launches
  • Help customers understand product features, pricing, and installation considerations

Team Collaboration & Operations

  • Work closely with warehouse, operations, and installation teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment
  • Support store operations and help maintain an organized and professional showroom environment
  • Assist with inventory checks and sample management as needed

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in flooring, cabinetry, kitchen & bath, remodeling materials, home improvement, or building materials sales preferred
  • Experience working with contractors, builders, remodelers, installers, or distributors is highly preferred
  • Retail showroom sales or contractor-facing sales experience is a plus

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with a proactive sales mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced showroom environment
  • Ability to manage multiple customer projects and follow-ups simultaneously
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn POS/CRM systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay: From $26.00 per hour
