We’re looking for you to join our team as aVirtual Relationship Manager, Indigenous TrustinSaskatchewan.

As the Manager, your primary role is to manage relationships and provide administrative oversight for Indigenous Trusts mandates and collaborate with a specialized team across Trust, Commercial Banking, and Wealth Management to serve Indigenous clients. Your key responsibilities include overseeing client relationships, managing procedures, and ensuring thorough client file management with a focus on the unique needs of Indigenous clients and Trusts. You’ll work closely with the Executive Trust Officer and team, liaising directly with Indigenous Trust clients and professional service providers to ensure effective Trust management while building trusted relationships with key stakeholders.

More of your responsibilities include:

Engaging with Indigenous clients on Trust programs, funding, reporting, communication, and training.

Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders for tailored Trust solutions reflective of Indigenous community priorities.

Working closely with Leadership, Community Trustees, and Membership to utilize Trust structures for advancing community goals.

Supporting the development of Trust programs and policies in collaboration with Indigenous communities and CIBC Trust Corporation.

Ensuring compliance with Trust Deed, identifies and mitigates account risks, and adheres to CIBC Trust Policies & Procedures.

Managing the setup and administration of complex Indigenous trusts, overseeing investments and providing ongoing education for leadership and community members.

Partnering with external experts and internal departments to provide guidance on investment, tax, and other issues impacting trusts.

Assisting the Executive Trust Officer in tracking, monitoring, and ensuring compliance with complex Indigenous Trust documents and CIBC guidelines.

Providing effective coaching and oversight to the support team, supporting professional development and acting as a technical expert for Indigenous communities in Trust-related matters.
