Full job description
Trinity Energy Group is currently seeking a self-motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Fireproofing Foreperson . This role will be responsible for managing crews in new and existing commercial buildings under the direction of the Superintendent. Responsible for being the point of contact between the crew and supervisors and construction site contact. Must be able to travel out of town if necessary.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure proper materials, tools, and equipment are being used for the specified tasks.
Supervising crews of 2-4 employees, and ensuring work is on schedule.
Make sure safety is a priority.
Prepare and apply fire protection assemblies.
Reads blueprints and data to determine requirements for the job.
Working on the road Monday to Friday often – Hotel and meal allowance provided
Typical job hours would be 6am-6pm depending on location of job.
Other duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
Drivers licence required
Organization skills
Knowledgeable in electronics an asset
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time and hold 55lbs comfortably.
