Term: This is a permanent, full-time, year-round position.
Salary: The starting salary is $15-17 per hour.
Education and language: The position requires the ability to read, write and speak English. The ability to understand and speak Hindi or Punjabi will be considered an asset but not required. The education required is high school or equivalent.
Required Experience and Skills:
Two to three years experience as a restaurant server or in a similar front-of-house position
Strong communication skills and ability to form a positive rapport with guests
Willingness to learn and eventually work independently
Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality performance
Main Duties:
Providing excellent customer service to all guests
Providing suggestions for food or drink choices
Presenting accurate bills and accepting and recording payments
Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff
Taking feedback from diners and ensuring customer satisfaction
Cleaning tables and preparing spaces for next guests
Carrying drinks and food from the kitchen or bar area to the tables
Assisting with sidework duties
