Position Summary
The Financial Analyst will be focused on staffing budgets and client profitability models to ensure that all related Actual and Budget reporting is completed accurately, timely, and efficiently. The right candidate will have a strong financial acumen, understanding of corporate reporting, and the ability to bridge financial requirements across multiple agencies and specialist services.
Key Responsibilities
Financial
- Maintain payroll budgets and corresponding benefits and be one source of truth for the agency
- Work with agency leads to evaluate staffing levels and provide guidance for adjustments needed
- Responsible for monthly variance analysis and compensation tracking reports
- Complete retainer reconciliation and fee costings as needed
- Create month end journal entries
- Contribute into internal and external audits as needed
- Monitor timesheet inputs and approval
- Prepare ad-hoc reporting as required
Media Ocean / AX Systems
- Provide input into system structure setups and processes to ensure that payroll and benefits are recorded correctly in Media Ocean and D365
- Input submission of actuals/forecasts using TM1 and monitor client profitability
- Obtain superior knowledge of OMG’s database file structure and how each module relates to specific clients – Especially Aura
Skills and Competencies
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Commerce
- Excellent knowledge in Excel and other Microsoft Office products
- Prior experience with the following systems is an asset: MediaOcean (DDS), TM1, Hyperion, D365
- Excellent communication skills, ability to present ideas and recommendations in a clear and concise manner
- Problem solving skills, excellent attention to details and high level of accuracy
- Work well in and foster a positive team environment
- 3-5 years of related experience

Expected Salary: $45,000 – $55,000
