The Financial Analyst will work closely with Senior Leadership, partnering with operations to protect margins, improve execution and drive accountability across a high-volume IT service business while making a real impact on profit and loss.
Responsibilities
Be the key financial partner to the Leadership team, providing visibility into margins, cost drivers and overall revenue performance
Lead reporting and automation initiatives to improve data accuracy, turning manual trackers into real-time insights
Provide high-impact reporting on various key performance indicators including utilization, cost-per-call and client profitability – turning data into recommendations
Lead regular forecasting cycles including the annual budget process, collaborating with Operations and Accounting departments to ensure alignment
Monitor financial performance to identify inefficiencies, cost overruns. Develop and implement corrective actions to allow for accountability across departments
Provide accurate cost allocation and billing while maintaining data integrity and seamless reporting for Leadership teams
Support Accounts Receivable and cash flow by solving operational issues that slow down payment
Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic planning initiatives
Qualifications
3+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience including P&L in high-volume service environments
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or other related discipline
CPA or working towards, strongly preferred
Advanced MS Excel skills, proven experience handling large datasets
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills; able to translate data into business insights
Excellent communication skills, able to provide insights and influence business decisions at the Executive level
Proven ability to lead complex business projects, drive cross-functional initiatives and manage competing priorities
Experience with Net Suite and Service Now a strong asset
