About This Opportunity
Are you passionate about creativity, social media, and community engagement? Join U+ Toastmasters as a Volunteer and make a positive impact on the community while promoting our inspiring public speaking and leadership programs!
What You’ll Do
- Process financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, payments, and reimbursements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.
- Maintain financial records and databases, tracking budgets, expenses, and account balances.
- Assist with payroll, billing, and reconciliations, supporting timely and accurate financial operations.
- Prepare financial reports and statements for management, funders, and auditors.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities, providing data and analysis as required.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with staff and external partners to resolve financial queries and maintain smooth operations.
- Assist in audits and financial reviews, providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
This is a volunteer position, ideal for students, creatives, or anyone looking to get involved in meaningful work while sharpening their marketing skills.
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome volunteers who are enthusiastic, dependable, and excited to support our mission! Ideal candidates will have:
✔ Age between 12 – 30
✔ A positive attitude and willingness to learn
✔ Commitment to completing basic training
✔ Fluency in English
✔ Successful Vulnerable Sector Check (required if you’re over 18)
Bonus Skills
✔ Previous experience
✔ Fluency or high proficiency in another language besides English
