As one of the leading dairy equipment suppliers in Canada, Norwell Dairy Systems Ltd. has 40+ years of experience providing innovative solutions to dairy farms across Southwestern Ontario. We are looking for the right individual to join our team of service technicians in providing high quality service and maintenance on dairy farm equipment, with a focus on automation and robotic milking. Qualified candidates will have at least 3 years mechanical and electrical repair experience on a variety of equipment, a positive worth ethic, and and enjoy working with their hands. Role and Responsibilities
Service and maintain dairy equipment on farms, with a high focus on automation and robotic systems.
Represent Norwell Dairy in a professional manner with customers.
Work independently while communicating within a team environment.
Drive a service van in a responsible manner.
Continued training as needed: on the job, in the classroom, and through book-learning with manuals.
Will be required to take a turn with after-hours service schedule once adequately trained.
Skills and Qualifications
Excellent problem solving, trouble shooting and critical thinking.
Mechanical aptitude and experience.
Able to work with minimal supervision. Can see what needs to be done and take initiative to accomplish it.
A high level of personal integrity, and the ability to work with others and treat them respectfully.
Driven to grow within the organization and keep current with new products and processes.
Milking equipment/Agriculture knowledge and experience is an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
