Hotsy Equipment Company is looking for a Field Service Technician to support customers in the Owatonna, Southern Minnesota, and Northern Iowa area.
This is primarily a service technician role with an opportunity to help grow our local presence in the market. We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn.
Experience with pressure washers or commercial cleaning equipment is helpful, but not required. We can train product knowledge. What we’re really looking for is someone who is dependable, coachable, customer-focused, and proud to do things the right way.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with customers, and being out in the field.
What You’ll Do
As a Field Service Technician, you will:
- Diagnose and repair commercial cleaning equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and service work.
- Help customers with equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
- Support customers in the Owatonna and Southern Minnesota/Northern Iowa area. No overnight travel or weekends required.
- Recommend accessories, parts, detergents, and preventative maintenance options that help customers get the best results.
- Identify customer needs and communicate potential sales opportunities to the sales team.
- Support equipment demonstrations, startups, and customer training when needed.
- Maintain accurate service notes, customer records, and activity updates.
- Maintain and be responsible for parts inventory in the vehicle and at the shop.
- Work as part of a supportive, customer-focused team.
