Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues with CNC and Water Jet equipment. You will also play a key role in providing top-tier technical support to customers while maintaining high-quality standards. Travel is required for this position.
Duties
- Responsible for the installation and setup of CNC machines
- Work directly with our customers to repair, program, and troubleshoot their control systems, specifically Delta Tau, Fanuc and Siemens
- Calibrate, program, and troubleshoot machine controls
- Work closely with manufacturing and engineering to get machines up and running to capacity
- Communicate with managers to inform of situations that may impact production
- Compile records of equipment and machinery information used on customer site
- Assist in maintaining and monitoring inventory of spare parts for all machines to minimize downtime
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance as needed
- Work on all pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic components on CNC machinery
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other business programs
Requirements
- Successful completion of a certification program at a Junior College or equivalent formal training in a related field.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong electrical and hydraulic experience – Pneumatic experience is a plus
- Programming Logic Controllers (PLC), preferably Delta Tau, Fanuc, and Siemens is a plus
- Experience with Renishaw laser scanner and ball bar system is preferred.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job
- Must be able to travel 80 – 90% of the time

Pay: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour
