Overview
We are a company contracted to FedEx Ground Delivery and currently have multiple full-time, permanent position for drivers to provide package pick-up and delivery services for FedEx customers. We are looking for responsible and safe drivers who can provide excellent service and follow delivery procedures in a safe and efficient manner. Salary is paid weekly. We operate six days a week. Schedule will be a 5 day work week, specific days off to be determined.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver packages along designated routes
- Load and unload shipments efficiently
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures or proof of delivery from customers
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation throughout your shift
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, ensuring package security, and representing the company professionally
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure optimal operation and report any issues promptly
Experience
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Have a valid driver license and clean driving record
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and ongoing random drug screens
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a background check
- Be able to lift, carry, and move packages up to 150 lbs
- FedEx driver experience a plus, earn more to start
Pay: From $180.00 per day
