Responsibilities
Cultivate and care for crops including planting, watering, and fertilizing
Monitor crop health and manage diseases, pests, and weeds
Operate and maintain farm equipment, such as tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
Harvest and package crops according to quality standards
Maintain accurate records of planting, harvesting, and crop yields
Assist in the development and implementation of farm plans and strategies
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations on the farm
Requirements
Proven experience as a Farmer or similar role
Solid knowledge of crop cultivation techniques and best practices
Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
Ability to operate and maintain farm equipment
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Effective communication and teamwork skills
High school diploma/GED required, formal education in agriculture or related field preferred
