Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking person to join our team. This role requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have previous farming or related experience, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of farm tasks including planting, weeding and harvesting.
- Greenhouse work including mixing soil, seeding trays, and irrigation.
- Washing, processing and packing of vegetables.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Contribute to a safe, respectful, and positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions (rain, heat, cold).
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects repeatedly and performing strenuous tasks for extended periods.
- Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the farm. We are not accessible by public transportation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work harmoniously with others.
- Previous experience with market garden style farming or related industry experience (e.g., greenhouse, landscaping) is ideal.
- Previous experience in operating heavy equipment.
- G drivers license

- The role may require early mornings, weekend work, or overtime during peak seasons.
- Year-round work available to the right candidate.
