Emergency Department Opportunities

  • Supportive and collegial team of FP, FP-EM, and CCFP (EM) physicians
  • CCFP‑EM/FP‑EM not required, but is always welcomed
  • Flexible overlapping shift coverage:
    • Summer:
      Daytime shifts extended by 1 hour to meet seasonal demand
    • Locum opportunities are available if you would like to visit the area before making a permanent decision
    • Leadership Development Opportunities are available with Interior Health’s NAVIG8 Program

Benefits and Incentives

May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including:
Retention Premium 4.73% Retention Flat Fee $7,322 Relocation Funding Available $9, Recruitment Incentive $10,000 Other Benefits/Incentives Rural Incentives include:

  • Relocation: $9,000 – $15,000 based on move location
  • Rural CME: max of $ 4,400/year after 4 years in practice
  • Rural incentives are subject to change and current rates are confirmed at time of offer.
