In this role, you will be responsible for delivering both theoretical knowledge and hands-on training in the Welding program. You’ll mentor students, ensuring they develop the skills needed in the workforce, while also contributing to curriculum improvements and program activities. Collaboration with fellow instructors and industry professionals is vital.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide classroom and practical shop training for welding
• Mentor and support students pursuing their trade
• Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols
• Work with industry partners for program promotion
• Stay updated on industry advancements and technologies
Requirements:
• Valid Interprovincial Red Seal certification as a Welder
• Minimum five years of recent industry experience
• Deep understanding of various welding techniques
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
