NSB Omega is searching for a Fabrication Lead for our Oil & Gas Client in St. John's, NL.
Qualifications Required
- 10+ years in the direct management of complex steel fabrication components.
- Understanding of codes, standards, and recommended practices for marine construction in Canada.
- Detailed understanding of fabrication methods (cutting, welding, testing, coating, etc.).
- Ability to assess supplier capabilities and facilities.
- Ability to create scopes of work and specifications for fabrication contracts.
- Extensive on-site experience supervising major fabrication works.
- Strong commitment to HSE principles.
- Ability to manage changes during fabrication safely and responsibly.
- Effective interface between PMT and fabricators.
- Registration/Membership in a relevant professional association should be provided.
