Responsibilities
- Execute exterior renovation projects including framing, siding installation, stucco application, roofing repairs, and masonry work with precision and efficiency
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely to complete tasks effectively
- Perform construction estimating to assess project scope, materials needed, and timelines for each job
- Conduct site preparation, heavy lifting, scaffolding setup, and cleanup while maintaining safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with team members to fabricate custom components using metalworking or carpentry techniques when necessary
- Apply finishing touches such as caulking, trim carpentry, tile laying, or restoration techniques to achieve polished results
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site work with a strong background in exterior renovation including roofing, masonry, carpentry, or related fields
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for precise project implementation
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to assess project requirements effectively
- Experience with concrete forming, metal stud framing, plumbing integration or remodeling projects is a plus
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and working at heights or on scaffolding safely
- Handyman experience or specialized skills such as tile laying or stucco application are highly desirable
