We are seeking an experienced truck driver with 2-3 years of relevant experience. Success in this role requires strong skills in operating heavy machinery, conducting inspections, and performing emergency repairs. You will also be responsible for recording cargo information, ensuring safety and security during transport.
Key Responsibilities:
• Load and unload goods safely
• Inspect vehicle components and perform maintenance
• Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed
• Maintain driver logbooks and inspection reports
• Rig cargo and ensure its security during transport
Requirements:
• Valid Class 1/1F/A Licence for semi-trailer trucks
• Air Brakes Endorsement and Forklift Operator Certification
• Ability to operate GPS and navigation equipment
• Attention to detail and physically fit for demanding tasks
• Reliable and organized with excellent communication
