Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Stone Mason and Landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry, landscaping, and construction, with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. This role involves creating durable stone structures, performing landscape renovations, and restoring existing features with precision and craftsmanship. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and skilled in various construction techniques.
Duties
- Set elevations, string lines autonomously
- Construct and install stone structures such as walls, patios, walkways, and retaining walls using hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution
- Perform renovation and restoration work on existing stonework or landscape features
- Assist with general landscaping tasks including planting, grading, and site preparation
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in masonry, stonework, or landscaping projects with a strong portfolio of completed work
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, trowels, and levels
- Experience operating power tools including saws, drills, and grinders
- Construction experience with a focus on renovation or restoration projects preferred
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt plans as needed for project success
Pay: $25.00-$30.09 per hour
