Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join our team in Troy, NY. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and experienced in interior and exterior painting for residential and/or commercial properties. The position will also include light routine property maintenance tasks. This is a full-time position offering stable year-round work and competitive benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare interior and exterior surfaces, including cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming.
- Apply paint, varnish, stain, sealant, and finishing products in accordance with project specifications.
- Safely operate painting tools and equipment (brushes, rollers, sprayers, ladders, etc.).
- Protect surrounding areas and maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Light routine maintenance tasks such as; cleaning and assisting other maintenance staff as needed.
- Follow safety procedures and comply with all company, OSHA, and local regulations.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and residents/clients as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional painting experience preferred.
- Knowledge of surface preparation, application techniques, and finishing methods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work on ladders, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour
