Fire Protection Specialties, Inc. (FPSI) is a trusted, locally owned fire sprinkler company serving Southern California since 2015. We provide expert fire protection services including inspections, testing, and maintenance of Fire Sprinklers Systems, Fire Pumps, Fire hydrants, Hose Stations, Standpipes, Kitchen Hoods, Gas Systems & Fire Extinguishers.
FPSI is currently seeking to add an Experienced Kitchen Hood Suppression Technician to our team located in our San Diego office. We offer a competitive hourly pay base as well as medical, PTO, and 401K packages after a probationary period.
Duties include:
- Inspections & Maintenance on Kitchen Hood Systems.
- Experience with Amerex, Ansul, CaptiveAire.

Job Requirements:
- Must have experience servicing Kitchen Hood Suppression Systems.
- Knowledge of applicable code and regulations
- Excellent customer service and communications skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and multi-tasking skills.
- Attention to detail and high standards of quality.
- The ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Must have a current Driver’s License with a good driving record.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years or older
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $60,000 – $90,000, negotiable
Pay Schedule: Weekly

· Monday to Friday typically. Occasional Weekends. Early Morning, late night starts on occasion.
