Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Grill / Kebab Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety within a restaurant or food service environment. This role involves preparing and cooking grilled and kebab dishes with precision and attention to quality, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent food handling skills, knowledge of meal preparation, and a passion for delivering delicious, high-quality cuisine.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook grilled meats and kebabs according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is cooked safely and maintained at proper temperatures in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as marinating, chopping, and assembling ingredients
- Serve dishes promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure hygiene
- Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy hours
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines related to food industry standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in grilling, kebabs, or similar food preparation roles within a restaurant or food service setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Experience in meal preparation, cooking, and serving in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment used for grilling and meat preparation
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Knowledge of the food industry standards for cleanliness, hygiene, and safety
- Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates willing to learn
