Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Gas Fireplace Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, servicing, and troubleshooting gas fireplaces in residential new construction.
This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide excellent customer service while working independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Install gas fireplaces, inserts, venting systems, and related components
- Perform service, maintenance, and troubleshooting on existing units
- Read and interpret installation manuals, blueprints, and local code requirements
- Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Conduct leak testing and system inspections
- Communicate professionally with customers on-site
- Maintain clean and organized job sites and warehouse materials
- Work safely with tools, ladders, and gas connections
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of gas fireplace installation experience
- Knowledge of venting systems, gas piping, and fireplace diagnostics
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in residential construction environments
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude

Pay: $25–$30 per hour depending on experience, with opportunities for advancement and additional compensation based on certifications and performance.
