We are seeking an Experienced Flagger to join our construction team. Duties
- Use standardized hand signals and signs to guide vehicles around construction zones
- Maintain constant awareness of surrounding activities to prevent accidents and ensure safety compliance
- Monitor traffic flow and adjust flagging operations as needed to accommodate changing site conditions
- Assist with setting up traffic control devices such as cones, barriers, and signage to establish safe work areas
- Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately to site management for prompt resolution
- Support other construction activities by helping with basic site logistics when necessary
Requirements
- Proven experience as a flagger or in a similar traffic control role on construction sites
- Knowledge of traffic control procedures, safety standards, and relevant regulations (such as OSHA guidelines)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly relay instructions in high-pressure situations
- Valid certification as a flagger or traffic control flagging card (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks in various weather conditions
