About us
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the installation and finishing of concrete, with a focus on attention to detail and quality. Decorative and stamped concrete experience is preferred. The Concrete Finisher will work closely with other members of the construction team to ensure a smooth and efficient project completion. **Required Abilities:**
-Minimum 5 years experience forming, pouring and finishing concrete
-Able to drive small dump trucks (non- CDL)
-Able to drive a manual transmission
-Able to tow a trailer
**Preferred Abilities:**
-welding
-brick/ block laying
-general carpentry
-operate mini excavtors, skid steers, etc.
**Duties:**
– Perform a variety of tasks related to the installation and finishing of concrete, including applying finishing coats, polishing, and texturing. Perform a variety of tasks as a general laborer in the construction industry.
– Use mechanical knowledge to operate heavy equipment, such as concrete pumps, and other specialized tools.
– Collaborate with the construction team to frame carpentry, ensuring that the foundation is sound and ready for the installation of the final materials.
– Conduct routine inspections to identify and correct any defects or imperfections in the concrete finish.
– Utilize schematics and blueprints to accurately measure and mark areas for the installation of concrete.
– Restore and repair damaged or worn-out concrete surfaces.
– Work safely and effectively at heights, on scaffolding, or in other challenging environments.
– Perform caulking and sealing tasks to protect the concrete from water and other elements.
– Demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail, ensuring that all work meets or exceeds the required standards.
**Experience:**
– A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Concrete Finisher or in a related field.
– Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with heavy equipment.
– Familiarity with commercial driving and the ability to operate a vehicle safely and efficiently.
– Experience working with stucco, frame carpentry, and other exterior finishes.
– Knowledge of schematics and blueprints, as well as experience with concrete pumping and other specialized tools.
– Proven ability to work at heights and in other challenging environments.
– A track record of delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
– A strong commitment to safety and a willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
