Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Painter to join our busy architectural metals business. The ideal candidate takes pride in their craft, consistently delivers showroom-quality finishes, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare metal surfaces by sanding, masking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply automotive paint using air paint spraying equipment, hand tools, and power tools with precision and consistency
- Perform surface spot repairs to create a smooth surface for painting
- Buff, polish, and detail painted surfaces to achieve a high-gloss finish that meets industry standards
- Maintain painting equipment, spray guns, and the spray booth in proper working condition
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed when handling paints, chemicals, and equipment while maintaining a clean work environment Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive painter with dealership or auto body shop background preferred
- Strong knowledge of auto body repair, auto painting techniques, and vehicle restoration processes
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying systems, buffing machines, and auto glass installation tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy shop setting

Pay: $25.60 – $35.00 per hour
