Experienced Automotive Mechanic – Switch to Medium Duty Jobs in Chilliwack at Zuma Lift Service Inc
Zuma Lift Service is expanding and we’re seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic ready for a rewarding career change!
We specialize in servicing and repairing boom lifts, scissor lifts, and telescopic forklifts. Based in Chilliwack, BC, we provide both in-shop service and mobile on-site service to our customers.
Our new team member will enjoy a smooth transition into medium-duty repair and service, backed by full manufacturer tech support, training, service and parts manuals, and the assistance of our experienced lead technicians.

Great Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm – M-F
Common Tasks Include:
Joystick replacement & calibration
Hydraulic coil & valve diagnostics & replacement
Cylinder removal and seal repair
Replacing and configuring circuit boards (Support provided)
Engine diagnostics & repair such as fuel pumps, injectors, starters, alternators, etc.
Most areas of repair offer more room to work than typical automotive repairs, offering a refreshing change of pace!
You will need experience with:
Gas & Diesel Engine Troubleshooting
Regular Engine Services
Hydraulics (replacing fittings, seals, o-rings, valves)
Electrical Troubleshooting
Comfortable using a computer and diagnostics software
Owning a complete basic tool set
At this time, we are seeking a candidate with several years of mechanical experience. We need an independent problem-solver who can systematically diagnose and repair issues using all the support tools we provide.
