Position Overview
Greystone is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment in support of civil and utility construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate excavators safely and efficiently on active job sites
- Perform trenching, grading, backfilling, and material handling
- Work closely with ground crews and Foremen to complete tasks
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Maintain productivity while ensuring quality workmanship
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating excavators
- Experience in civil and/or utility construction preferred
- Strong understanding of safe work practices
- Ability to work in various weather and site conditions
- Reliable, team-oriented, and safety-focused
